Editing a line item
Open any estimate and select a line item to adjust its description, quantity, unit, or rate. Add a new line item for anything the first draft missed, or remove one that doesn't apply.
How local pricing works
QuickEstimate factors in your market when it prices labor and common materials, so a estimate for the same job looks different in different cities. If a rate looks off for your area, editing it on one estimate doesn't change your defaults — update your pricing preferences in account settings if you want the adjustment to carry forward.
Saving as a draft
Not ready to send? Estimates save automatically as you edit, so you can step away and come back without losing changes.
Reusing an estimate
For repeat clients or similar jobs, duplicate a past estimate from the Estimates list instead of starting from scratch.
